Job Summary
Kforce has a client in San Bernardino, CA that is seeking an IT Specialist. This role involves providing operational support, particularly at pack stations, which includes maintaining and troubleshooting mini PCs, printers (Zebra, Dymo, HP, Brothers), and scanners. The specialist will also be responsible for training on internal systems, interacting with internal customers, and supporting existing network infrastructure and entry access systems. The position requires reliable transportation and availability for overtime, including potential weekend shifts.
Must Have
- Prior experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment
- Basic network knowledge to support existing infrastructure
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain various printers and scanners
- Capability to provide training on internal systems
- Ability to understand the business and communicate effectively with lead teams, including the onsite General Manager
- Reliable transportation and ability to work overtime

Kforce has a client in San Bernardino, CA that is seeking an IT Specialist. Operational Responsibilities:
- Support the business operationally, especially at pack stations which include mini PCs, printers, and scanners
- Maintaining printers such as zebra, dymo, HP, Brothers, and others
- Responsible for troubleshooting these stations and providing training on internal systems
- Must understand the business and be able to communicate effectively with lead teams, including the onsite General Manager
- Will spend a majority of the day interacting with internal customers
Work Schedule & Expectations:
- Must have reliable transportation
- Able to work overtime
- Standard hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, but shifts may start as early as 6:30 AM and end as late as 5:00 PM
- Workdays are Monday through Friday, with weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday) as needed; Will be given 3 days notice if they need to work a weekend shift
- Short learning curve expected - someone who can ramp up quickly
- No days off from 23 Nov - 05 Dec; Schedule will be 7:00 AM TO 4:00 PM
Requirements
- Prior experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment is required
- Familiarity with printers and scanners, especially Zebra devices, is a strong plus
- Servicing printers such as zebra, dymo, HP, Brothers, and others
- Must have basic network knowledge-not necessarily building networks from scratch, but able to support existing infrastructure (e.g., adds, moves, network drops)
- Experience with Ubiquiti systems is highly desirable, including Unifi and OpenPath (used for entry access and infrastructure)
- Will support entry access systems from a software perspective, including assigning access cards
- Vendor management or maintaining vendor relationships is helpful
